This one is for my friend Mr. Dumont

Someone left me a sweet little comment on Myspace about not seeing the engagement session that started it all. Since I'm in a pleasing kind of mood tonight, I thought paying tirbute to my best friend in the whole wide world, Stacey and her wonderful Hubby, Tom, would be the best thing to do at this moment.

I pulled this from a post made way back in December of 2006. I am searching through my CD's for some more fabulous Stacey and Tom engagement pics to share with you. I will even add some fancy up to date Sandra Salisbury love to them! So check back in a bit!

Take your daughter to work day?

I decided since I don't work in an official office, and aren't able to participate in all that fun office atmosphere, I will create my own festive events. Toady was my go at letting my 6-year-old help me with my blog. She picked out 4 pictures of her and baby brother from this summer. Then helped me add some fun effects ad now I'm sharing them with you here! These are some of my very favorites from our front yard adventures this year. We played in the water almost everyday. It is our most enjoyable summer pasttime.

Zach is not as excited as Susie about just jumping right in. He is more of an observer!
I have no idea what this crazy face was directed towards. But, he does this a lot and it could be for a many number of things.
If I had to pick one picture of my kids from this year that truly dipicted who they are as siblings, this would be it. I could add my own caption explaining it, but I'd rather hear what you have in mind. Leave a comment if you can explain this one below.
And this is Susana's #1 pick for this post. notice the outfit! This pictue was taken in early June. I can understand the patriotic stars on the skirt-total summer-ish, but the halloween shirt! She is so stylish! =) That's what I love most about her, hse isn't afraid to be herself and is confident enough to wear the wrong holiday attire all year long!

Jessica & Ryan: Wedding

I love working with DrewB. She has the greatest couples and we have become good friends. When she calls me to shoot with her I spend the time looking forward to the wedding day just as much as my own weddings. On November 10th we photographed the wedding day of Jessica and Ryan. they were married at the LDS temple in Redlands. I have a ton of really beautiful pictures to post, but I'm busy working on my own clients pictures right now. I promise to catch you up on all the weddings from this summer and early fall as soon as I can. Here is one of my favorite shots from the day. I love the simple beauty of a LDS wedding.

Parris in the Fall = love and beauty!

What a treat it was to spend a couple hours in Parris today.
Well not the real one like Paris, Eiffel tower, city o' love... this one is better! The Parris I was at is the home to the lovely Parris family, Will, Jess and Charlie (aka Charlotte). I have to tell you how amazing this family is. Love and Beauty are two words that can barely explain to you what you feel in there home. Will and Jess were so gracious to invite me in and let me take pictures of the 3 of them as a family. And no, I didn't just knock on their door and ask to come in. They are friends of mine... :)-

Baby Charlie is THE cutest little baby girl (my children a side for a moment) that I have ever seen. she has these sharp blue eyes that really grab you and the best smile! It was so much fun to watch her interact with her mom and dad. I love first time parents because they have this joy. I can't explain it. Not to say that 2nd 3rd and further children don't bring amazing amounts of joy to their parents, but there is just something about the way a dad looks at his new baby. And the way a new mom can't ever put her down!!!!! It seriously is the most breath-taking thing! Anyway, Charlie was born July 18th and was a button full of beauty and excitement. She is now a 4-month-old little darling who had the most entertaining soundtrack and enough spirit to lead a stadium full of Trojan fans!

here are just a few of many hard to choose from pictures I catured during my visit at their home! To see an adorable slideshow click here
This is my favorite from the day!

Toes, a family of toes!

Jess and Will have a fantastic home. This was a perfect location to take their pics!

Charlie is a daddy's girl! It's a fair trade for being out numbered by the ladies in the house!

Always busy looking around and learning!
I love babies in giant chairs.
And in giant beds too!
Come bcak tomorrow, I'm adding a slideshow! =)

I have so much to be thankful for!

Today was glorious! I got to sleep in and wake up with a great cup of joe made by my hubby. I enjoyed the time I spent making a beautiful meal, turkey, stuffing and all the spiffy extras. I was so happy to finally have a working oven. Ours had been out of commission since we moved in way back in May! grandma brought the potoaoes an gravy and robbi helpped me with the sweets She made a delicious pie!!!!
The best part of thanksgiving was sharing it with my family. Alex and the kids really enjoyed eating and visiting with my mom and dad, my sis Robbi, and my grandma. we all shared what we were most thankful for this year. I am so greatful to have one full offical year under my belt as a full time photographer. This week marks my freshman year over as a wedding industry all day everyday photographer. I owe so much to Alex! Whitout him I would not have any of this. He doesn't mind my Sunday meetings or wehen i bring my laptop to bed with me. He sleeps less then me and works harder everday. On top of all that he is an amazing dad and even brought me a beautiful long stem deep red rose when he was out today!
Zach had his own stuffing recipe e was preparing for us.

It's about time!! This counts as Wednesday's post BTW!

So, it seems that another show has found it's place into our home! Back in august Nick jr launched a pretty awesome morning show for little ones called Yo Gabba Gabba.

My son Zach who is on the peak of turning 2-years-old is obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba! I just realized that I haven't blogged about his love of this show yet. My Daughter is pretty into it as well and keeps telling me she wants to be one of the dancing kids on it! Anytime someone in our family says please in a certain tone, it is followed by a thank-you - Yo Gabba Gabba Style. Please, Thank-you, Please Thank-you, Please Thank-you Magic Magic Magic Magic! And it continues.... Yo Gabba Gabba is has become first choice of my kids, not only because my great friends(the Lyon family) are producers of this crazy, fun, attention grabbing, get up and dance, teach you cool stuff show...... but also because it really does rock! So here is to YGG being a staple in our home and for the songs that seem to be with us everywhere we go! So, tune in weekdays at 11:30 am and I promise your kids will LOVE it!

Goodbye see ya later!!!!!!

I'm easy to please. This is my entire christmas wish list!

As I was sitting here working through some images from this summer, a commercial grabbed my attention. My all time favorite show Gilmore Girls (which ended this year in a sudden unexpected series finale) has been released on a complete series DVD set!!!! I'm so jazzed, yes JAZZED! I hang out by the TV series DVD section every time I'm at costco or target! So, this is it, all I want! Well that and maybe some gourmet chocolate!

Here are a few images I was working on. These are from a wedding I worked on with Drew. Traci and Kevin Sanchez were married In September in Upland. It was a beautiful day. Even more beautiful since Traci is an old friend of mine.

oh the love!!!
