The great Assist, a fabulous Lyon WEDDING

What a rockin' time with Amelia Lyon and Shyla Dalirifar… as an assistant for the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Danforth. This was an extremely fun day. Amelia has a marvelous network of brides set up and it was fun to see other couples who were photographed earlier this year by her. One couple was even in the wedding party! The flower girl, Ava, was THE cutest ever! I was able to get a great shot of her at the park we shot at. I love assisting for Amelia because she doesn't mind me squeezing in a few shots during the down time

Here are some of the spectacular shots Amelia set up at the church. I love big wedding parties, they are really a lot of fun to watch. God bless Amelia for having wonderful patience when setting up all these great shots.

This is a great set of this hot model couple! Well, they aren't really models, but they could be!

This is my favorite of the day. I love it!
So, thanks to the FANTASTIC photographer, Mrs. Lyon, I was following around all day, I was able to get this hot shot!

I was lucky enough to play entertainer for the little ones during part of the shoot and had time to get Ava happy and photo-ready.
Here is the A M A Z I N G Ava shot. I say amazing because she was a really active flower girl and catching this little face even for a split second, was…… just that!
The reception was at a beautiful home with a spectacular set up in the back yard under one of those crazy big wedding tents. The details were great and dinner was served buffet style out around the gorgeous pool. This was a yummy cake!!!

How awesome is this "don't you dare get cake on me" shot. Check out this fake-out face Christina put on for the almost toss!
And the grand exit with sparklers!

Well, that's a days work. Oh, what a hard job I have. Thanks to Amelia and Shyla, I had fun, AGAIN!

Amazing Trip To Mexico for a rockin' WEDDING!

In May I had the best time in Ensenada with the blissful Amelia Lyon and the Radical Tracy Kumono. I was tagging along as the assistant to the fabulous photographer, and was able to catch these fun images on the sly. I truly had a wonderful time and it was a perfect work vacation. Not only did I get to eat amazing food all weekend and hang out with some cool people (Amelia's parents are super fun) but, the whole experience was a tremendous learning triumph!! One hundred thanks to all those who support me in my quest to becoming the artist that I find has been hiding out inside of me. I could do nothing without your thought and support. I enjoyed the time down south but have to give credit to my wonderful husband Alex for letting me escape for 3 whole days and for never complaining about my LONG hours here at home!!! =)

The view from the hotel where the wedding party and guests stayed

The Bride and Grom took their guys and gals down town for some festive pics.
The crazy Mexico walls were a lot of fun!

A little set up by Amelia, I was able to catch a great angle for myself!

If anyone feels a translation is in order..please go ahead. Although I do fear the response beacuse the smell of the sewer below us was incredable!
Here are Tracy and Amelia on the job....
One of the adorable kids of the city trying to sell us products! working so hard at such a young age!!!!!!!! It was hard to pass up their little faces.

Some details, the place cards for the guests were baggage tags, so smart with the destination wedding and all!!!!

I love this bride and groom, totally cool and laid back all day.It made the day interesting and enjoyable, but hey we were in Mexico!

That's all friends!!! I will have another posting up shortly. I have been blessed to be busy lately and can't wait to get more up.

I had the great privilage of working with the BEAUTIFUL and TALENTED Mrs. Amelia Lyon over the weekend. She is so sweet and hires me to assist her from time to time. I jump at the chance because she seriously is an amazing photographer and gifted artist! So, during my assisting, I got a few quick shots in. Of course this is all Amelia on the on the posing and lighting, thanks to her hard work, I was able to get a couple of cute shots in for myself. I had a lot of fun and look forward to everytime I get to hang with her and carry all her stuff!!! =)
