A Lesson In Love, Jason & Nuria

Jason and Nuria are getting married on July 14th. They are actually a referral from a couple of mine last year, Bob and Michelle. Jason and Nuria have a very interesting love story, they met while working together (as many lovebirds do) but he was a teacher and she was the Vice Principal at the same school. When Jason contacted me to do their photography, I was more than happy to jump at the opportunity. I think teachers deserve THE best. When Nuria and Jason met early last fall, they both went home thinking about more than just homework!!! They stirred around in their seperate dwellings, waiting, wondering, hoping that the other would pick up the receiver and dial those seven digits. Finally the phone rang and love began. These two turned a beautiful schoolyard crush into a spectacular after school romance. The passion of engaged couples makes me even more thankful that my job not only gives me the opportunity to give my clients unforgettable images, but also thankful to see that true love is constant and thriving! So here they are, the happy and adorable couple, JASON & NURIA. Don't miss this

The engagement shoot was held at the school where they met and worked together. It was a lot of fun!
The school was opened just last year, so it has interesting walls and colors. Not your typical elementary!!!

It was really easy working with these two! They are both very expressive and fun!

Jason rides his bike all over the place, he totally had to get Nuria her own set of gear so he could cruise her around too! Here are some awesome shots with the motorcycle in front of the school.
We caught a pretty sunset and played around with some fun lighting and angles! I am really happy with this set!

This is my fave for the day!!!
And the runner up right here....
This is what I got when I said make a funny face. I couldn't see their reaction to my request until I got home, I love it!!!!

Showing some love for the reason they are together!
I told you these two were easy to work with! They are totally natural at this.

I am so excited to see them again for the wedding in just 2 weeks!!!
So, it's been a little bit since I have posted a slide show, to spoil you all, I made one. CLICK HERE to check out all the super images from Jason & Nuria's educational engagement session.

The great Assist, a fabulous Lyon WEDDING

What a rockin' time with Amelia Lyon and Shyla Dalirifar… as an assistant for the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Danforth. This was an extremely fun day. Amelia has a marvelous network of brides set up and it was fun to see other couples who were photographed earlier this year by her. One couple was even in the wedding party! The flower girl, Ava, was THE cutest ever! I was able to get a great shot of her at the park we shot at. I love assisting for Amelia because she doesn't mind me squeezing in a few shots during the down time

Here are some of the spectacular shots Amelia set up at the church. I love big wedding parties, they are really a lot of fun to watch. God bless Amelia for having wonderful patience when setting up all these great shots.

This is a great set of this hot model couple! Well, they aren't really models, but they could be!

This is my favorite of the day. I love it!
So, thanks to the FANTASTIC photographer, Mrs. Lyon, I was following around all day, I was able to get this hot shot!

I was lucky enough to play entertainer for the little ones during part of the shoot and had time to get Ava happy and photo-ready.
Here is the A M A Z I N G Ava shot. I say amazing because she was a really active flower girl and catching this little face even for a split second, was…… just that!
The reception was at a beautiful home with a spectacular set up in the back yard under one of those crazy big wedding tents. The details were great and dinner was served buffet style out around the gorgeous pool. This was a yummy cake!!!

How awesome is this "don't you dare get cake on me" shot. Check out this fake-out face Christina put on for the almost toss!
And the grand exit with sparklers!

Well, that's a days work. Oh, what a hard job I have. Thanks to Amelia and Shyla, I had fun, AGAIN!

Summer fun, well spring I guess

The last week of school was always very exciting. I looked forward every year to the St. Louise Carnival. It was held at a church down the street from my high school and all us cool kids would head down there as a summer kick off each year. I am so pleased that I am now able to share this little piece of history with my own children. The parking is always crazy, so, here we are heading over there from a block away. I think the walk over adds to the whole carnival experience (and it serves as a great moment for the kiddies to calm down after all the sugar and games-myself included)
The lovely little sister Robbi Michelle, Isn't she a doll????
My hubb-ster and my babies.
The amazing Zachary
We can see it!!!! FUN FUN FUN!
This is the free Daddy ride.
Proof that the cotton candy was bigger than her head!
My boy eating his mini pizza dinner.
The best kiss ever!!! My princess, Susie.

Zach with his prize. Also bigger than his head, his whole body too!
Waiting in line for the be ride.

More waiting.. We waited a while for a rinky little carnival.. it was pretty busy.

beautiful sky with a fun ride!

Look who is tired from all the waiting. Susie in the spinning apple. She spun so fast, even the picture was crooked!!!!!
That's me, just lovin myself! There are never any pics of me, so for me, here's me!!!
And how about one of the MANY goofy shots me and my baby sis take.
I love this carnival and will go again next year. I wanted to post some fathers day images, but had to share these first, so stay tuned for some happy Fathers day pics soon!

oh the love!!!
