I know, I know.. I have been talking about all the weddings I have been busy shooting and not giving you the loot!!! Well I am please to telll you that I am slowly catching up with all the super weddings I was able to second shoot this summer. One of my very favorite days ( back on August 18th) was spent working for the Amazing Trista Lerit. She is a gifted talented photographer from Orange County and shooting beside her for the super stylish wedding of Katie and Kam was overwhelming. I say this for double reasons, I started out shooting Kam at 8 am and left the reception at 10:30.. and the other being that everything was thought of.. the fantastic people involved and every detail planned out. The dresses, the food, the ambiance. Not a single flower was out of place! The pictures will tell you of the day, I just had to try to add a little of how I felt to the summary.
Kam was really excited to get to the tea ceremony and see Katie!
I have to warn you I have a ton of detail combo frames for this wedding. I wanted to post so much and this is the watered down version as it is! The day started out with an early morning tea ceremony at the parents home. It was really beautiful to see all the family who care so much for these two and all the fun traditions they carry out!
One of the games they played required the guys to find $99 for the ladies. Here is Kam doing everything to win his way in to deliver his bride her boquet!
Some fun umbrellas.
Here Katie and Kam meet for the first time on their wedding day. She is so expressive and they have wonderful chemistry together!
There was a lot of tea tasting.
The costumes are so elaborate and the colors are what I live for!
Some details from the tea ceremony and lunch at the house.. just wait until the wedding!!!! everything was put together by Jennifer Johnson from OCS Finest Weddings! She really did a hot job on everthing!!! Oh and By the way this wedding was in the middle of that mad heat wave we had in August.. It was over 100 degress all day! The coolness of the people and the beautiful subejects and the fun details made it all worth it!
I think I have a love affair with bridal boquets ! and Shoes and rings and I guess everything girly!
And back at the Hotel, Katie getting ready. I love this dress shot with Katie preparing all her other details.
The ceremony and reception were at the Crowne Plaza. The ceremony was so beautiful. The lighting was amazing and perfect and of course Kam and Katie were emotional and so sweet!
K + K were naturals in front of the camera. They are so in love and photograph so well. I really had a lot of fun.
This is my fave for the day. A little typical I know, I just love the way they are looking at each other.
Real laughy smiles are always the best!
And the 1st dance as husband and wife. It was flawless and breathtaking.. fit well with all the other spectacular happenings of the day!
Like I said before, nothing forgotten or overllooked! Check out Trist'a blog too, she has some really cool images!
At first I was wondering where the giant cake was.. I thought for sure a wedding like this would have an amazing centerpeice of a cake to draw the crowds over... That was until they rolled out the biggest chocolate fountain in the world!!!! It smelled delicious.. can you smell it when you see this picture?
This is my end of the night shot. It must have been when this little man saw the giant white chocolate fountain.. Or just channeling the love held by that cute couple standing behind him!
I had a blast hanging out all day with the creative Trista Lerit and of course capturing Kam and Katie and all their friends. Stay tuned for more, cause I'm burning my way through the 6 other weddings I have to post.. That is before my crazy October starts! happy Blogging to you all! =)
